I don’t think it’s connected, simply because the Mirror seemingly broke before he got the Seed. Obviously everything XQ has done has far deeper meaning then what we’ve seen?

It was not given by Yun Che. That nicklace was given by her mother before she dissaper from blue pole star. When Yun Che dream about Yunba without XQ as a family member it was a hint. When Yun Che touch and check the nicklace he was shock that his dream and the picture inside it XQ is not present. But after few minutes it reflect her image as part of the Xia family. This was a hint. If you recall the phrases then you understand whether XQ is part of an illustion that becomes really or not.
