Unless the protagonist is a masochist there is zero reason for the FL to stay with the ML. I can’t understand the psychology of someone returning to a person who torture them and killed them…unless the FL’s brain burned to stupidity by all the torture she endured. I read until the end hoping she would get away and have a normal happy life…
