In the end she was poison by Evil Infant’s Wheel of Myriad Tribulations that’s why she was unable to leave that Samsara place in dragon god place. When she find out that YC have sky poison pear + Azure Dragon god soul + other half of light profound art she seem to figure out something about YC real reason for existence. Why he has so many Heven defying treasures any oddiis within in. So she seem to mutter to her self …

xi’er is actually their daughter YC and SX, she was not poisoned because she was sealed inside the sword being impossible for her to fall by the power of. Poison killer of gods and not the evil god did not set her free because she was also hurt by the poison and did not even know she was sealed or not

I think xi’er is actually shen xi referring to herself. Much like yc calls himself che’er in front of xiao li and his parents.
