What is the cruel fate that awaits Qingyue? What is up with Yun Che's dreams?

Qingye’s reasons for never telling Yun Che anything about her fate and premonitions is most likely because he isn’t strong enough. This would imply that if Yun Che was made aware of Qingyue’s fate or motives, he would either not be able to help her, or would risk his life in vain trying to do so. But how would strength actually solve this problem? I think it has to do with that ‘hidden danger’ HSDE was referring to. What is odd however, is that HSDE uses this as the prime reason to leave the Primal Chaos and not allow the True Devils to rampage. But how does this actually solve the issue?

Now on to the dreams. I remember Yun Che mentioning a couple of times long ago that he never used to see Qingyue during his childhood. And he also said long ago that when Yuanba was young, he used to be skinny. Yet, when Yun Che sees Qingyue’s pendant he sees a cute Qingyue and a buffy Yuanba, but thereafter Qingyue disappears from the image, and only uncle Xia and a skinny Yuanba are present. We know that Yuanba was skinny from a young age, so why does Yun Che react strangely at that?

Is it possible that Qingyue never existed and Yuanba was only skinny before the activation of the Mirror of Samsara, or is it that Qingyue’s existance is now actually being erased from the time and space of the Primal Chaos. Such as like using the concept of nothingness to erase her existance, which why she is gradually being replaced in Yun Che’s dreams?

These are all loose ends and questions that might be interesting to ponder on. It might also be interesting to consider how the 1st Heavenly Profound treasure has a role in everything, and what actual role the Ancestral God arts has. Any thoughts?

im leaning on the theory that xq was made after the mirror activated. But knows for now…

Depends on what her fate is, really. If she’s going to be killed by someone she can’t possibly defeat, then only YC’s strength, that can break common sense, really stands a chance. Or it could be something as simple as, “This is inevitable, I want him to be as strong and as indifferent as possible to spare him as much pain as possible.” It’s similar to when Huan Caiyi was pushing him away when she thought her death was inevitable. Could even be that her fate is tied to being his enemy and making him grow and she said what she said because she can’t force him to grow if he knows it’s a ploy so she could only reveal everything if the need for the ploy was gone, meaning he was already strong.

Was the “hidden danger” the main reason why HSDE left and prevented the Devils from entering? I felt like she left because she specifically wanted something like this to happen so he would grow in strength like crazy. Only when he stands at the very top could he possibly be completely safe and in turn leave her daughters in completely safe hands. She would need to leave for this to happen because no one is stupid enough to try anything while she’s around and her being around is causing too many problems with just her aura. He could never accomplish his strength gain with the Devils around either because he would get slaughtered before he had a chance and they would also cause too much trouble.

The reason he reacts weirdly to the skinny Yuanba dream is because Yuanba was only a skinny child until he wasn’t. He eventually blew up to a ridiculously burly size and, presumably, skinny Yuanba was during a time when Yuanba should have already been big and bulky. That, or it’s the fact that XQ was missing that threw him for a loop.

I’m of the opinion that XQ is being erased after the fact. The Mirror seems to operate on the highest level meaning it could theoretically create an entire person out of whole cloth, but with the way the story is going, it makes more narrative sense for her to be being erased. You also have to remember that only her actual existence seems to be gone, but her attributes seem to survive in some way. Skinny Yuanba apparently got her insane comprehension. Plus, we’ve only seen the Mirror affect other people in very specific circumstances. Yun Gu and Su Ling’er, who were both very close to Yun Che during the alternate timeline 2nd life that was created and then undone by the power of the Mirror. Yun Gu only had a sense of familiarity and was in possession of the other half of the Sky Poison Pearl, whereas Su Ling’er had a complete set of memories and was directly saved by Yun Che throwing the Sky Poison Sword. Both had extensive contact with the very Heavenly Profound Treasure that was brought over by the Mirror’s power to affect causality and Yun Che himself, the only known person for whom the Mirror has activated. This does not hold true for XQ. I’m thinking her fate will involve the Nothingness canyon/chasm/ravine that was in the God Realm of Absolute Beginning. Since Nothingness is above even time and space, it would erase her from ever having existed. Yun Che, being the only being to ever touch the Law of Nothingness, will be the only person who even remembers her and will eventually bring her back.

Not sure what sort of effect the 1st Heavenly Profound Treasure will have, but Ancestral God Arts are Law of Nothingness and are above Light(Life)/Darkness(Death) and even space/time so they theoretically should be able to reverse pretty much anything that happens.

Probably getting killed by YC and then we find out she didn’t kill anyone, and was trying to motivate YC. The Mirror created her for the soul purpose of being a sacrifice, so YC would obtain the strength to defeat whatever the final threat is?

I think she won’t die unless she gave her nine profound exquisite body to someone. Because XQ dies how can YC cultivate world defying heaven manual? Damn Mars he only created her for the sake of power up.

YC has already begun cultivating World Defying Heavens Manual, NPEB should be for something else later on. Most likely theory which zongheng readers agree on is that XQ is the spirit of the Mirror of Samsara. Or that the XQ we see is the NPEB and not original XQ…

That would be a huge letdown if it’s either of those. Both the Glazed Glass Heart and the NPEB are rare, but they still exist on other people. It’s not like she’s the only person to ever use them. For XQ to end up being that important would be a shitty reveal considering she didn’t exist in the story for like 600 chapters. I can buy it if she becomes the Spirit of the Mirror or if the Spirit/Master of the Mirror is manipulating her fate to give YC the best possible future, but for her to be something on that level would really ruin the Xiao Lingxi reveal. “Hey, guess what? Turns out two of YC’s women are related to the Gods of Creation and neither of them knew about it! Wow! How crazy, right? What a coincidence that is.”

If it’s about the dreams, still makes more sense to me that she’s going to be erased rather than her having some special connection to the Mirror. I mean, there’s the Abyss of Nothingness in the God Realm of Absolute Beginning, why bother introducing a giant pool of erasing if you’re not going to erase some motherfuckers?

As it was said in the law of nothingness, All illusion can be real and Vice versa, it is possible to resurrect all of Yun che’s relatives
