Translation Engine Timeout

Hey I keep getting error message when trying to translate chapters. “Request for translation engine timeout. Please try again later”. Haven’t been able to translate a chapter for a few hours now. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

no actual solution but i think it happens because of too many requests at the same time, the server times out.

Really? i have tried it 100+ times to translate in the last 2 days and everytime regardless if its busy or not i get the timeout message. Would be nice if a mod or admin tries to help fix this issue.

Update: Still getting the same error. Havent been able to translate successfully even once.

I’m getting the same as well but after many retries it finally works and I’ve also lost bricks trying

I think the main problem here is that the tool puts everyone in the same queue and overloads the server. if the tool were to be account bound where each account had it’s own queue, this problem would not have happened.

Today has been specially bad…usually after 30 minutes of try i could translate one chapter but today nope…barely managed to translate 5 chapters in 8 hours. on top of that bricks lost are completely gone. previously lost bricks could be regained after clearing cache, cookie of browser and then logging in website again but today they are gone permanently…sigh…
