The couple, especially mc, went through a lot of trouble because she gave birth to a child of unknown father. We all know about the fact the MC’s child’s father is ML. So if the couple would talk about their past or if ml would ask mc about her son, then they would figure out that the child’s father is, infact, ml… And this would solve a heck lot of troubles for the mc.
Because the author wants to leave it for later, probably till the end. So, mc went through a lot of trouble, in some times, she nearly died.
The author characterized mc as a strong independent woman, but in fact, she’s just a push over. And I’m disappointed about that.
So… buying this novel feels more and more like a mistake for me later on.
