The story told is wonderful. It’s layered and each character that comes into play has offered so much. The attention to detail of the plotting and it unfolding for us is graciously done.
Now the grammar. The pronouns are a problem but I have seen this in many of the books on this platform. . There is good verbage but a few synonyms could be used to reduce the repetition of some words.
