Based on the summary, this might be one of those one sided best friends romance. FL seems to really love the guy but I feel he’s taking advantage of their friendship to get his happiness. I’m going to assume FL ends up in a wedding dress because her friend’s girlfriend is getting married. This is what I mean by sacrifice, I believe FL takes the girlfriend’s place to get marry.
