This is my impression of the first 50 chapters that I’ve read; the progression was choppy and unnatural. I honestly think the country building system is a cool concept but it’s implementation was not up to par. The first dozen chapters didn’t really catch my eye. The story tries to paint the MC as some kind of scrappy cold blooded witty genius but everything he’s doing paints him as a dumbass in my eyes. His unnaturally high plot armor circumvents how stupid his decisions are. He keeps saying that he shouldn’t go hunting so often cuz he’ll get caught; proceeds to get caught and attacked. The world building isn’t really laid out that well, the only silver lining would be black Stone’s characterization which is quite amusing.
