I think this story have a lot similarities with other Chinese Novels like the protagonist is acting poor but actually rich then takes revenge on those who bullied him and so on. However, I can say that this story has some originality in it though they are rare. Also, I think that the Protagonist lacks a bit of bad-assness like being one of the greatest fighters and is smart and calculative. Overall it has alot of clichès but it is a good story.
