Source on that, by any chance? Never got the impression the Mirror was doing anything there. Especially since when the poison core fused into YC’s body, it was resonating with the other half of the SOP already fused with him, but the Mirror wasn’t mentioned to be “glimmering or flashing” or any of that sort of thing.

It’s just that, unless I’m remembering incorrectly, it’s not mentioned anywhere in the story that the Mirror is responsible for that.

Oh dear, i have no idea where that was mentioned, might be around the time when YC went and found the Second part of SPP on Yun Gu. Also, that shimmering has honestly been forgotten by Mars, but how i see the shining/reaction of MOS is when something is close which YC might need or happen to in the future like when it shone when Jasmine said he would die due to a woman.

As for the SPP fusing into body, i believe Jasmine mentioned it, not sure, but i know it was due to the MOS as i remember reading it. Found this on the wikia; Its current owner is Yun Che and it has, due to the Mirror of Samsara, completely merged with Yun Che. and; Under the effect of the Mirror of Samsara, it was forced to accept Yun Che as its eternal master.

You said it was mentioned by Jasmine, she’s only talked at length about the Mirror once, right after YC and XQ go to the Azure Cloud Continent from the Heaven Basin Secret Realm when YC finds the Water Seed. Find those chapters, then Ctrl+F Sky Poison Pearl until you get the relevant passage. Was simple enough.

It’s a throwaway line that I’ve must’ve read like 5 times or something, but I guess it’s not too much of a stretch for me to forget it. Not like it’s ever brought up again. And I also skim a lot.

i think regarding MOS i just remember 1 small hint yet it can be large 1. can u refer back to ch690 when jasmine and yun che are talking. i copy and paste back below. maybe we can discuss a bit. yeah we all know that due to jasmine YC die but is it bcoz MOS decided it when light shone? maybe MARS forget about this hint or something that can at least bring us some clue about MOS power.

The seven treasures: It was hinted that these existed alongside the Ancestral Primal God and were not created by that god. Ultimately, we have something like this from a “level” perspective:

Ancestral Primal God loafs around for a few million years writing her “memoirs”
Ancestral Primal God is capable of understanding the law of nothingness, since “she” was created from nothingness. This law is above all others.
Ancestral Primal God gets lonely.
Ancestral Primal God breaks her “memoirs” into three pieces and scatters them across primal chaos.
Ancestral Primal God shatters herself into 8 pieces, 4 light based gods and 4 darkness based gods (devils) called the “creation gods”. Ancestral Primal God no longer exists in the context we know of.
Creation Gods can read the “memoirs” because they are physically fragments of the Ancestral Primal God. But they don’t have all three at the same time, so none of them can read the entire thing.
Creation Gods cannot understand the law of nothingness because they have not experienced it.
Creation Gods create beings up to and including beings that can become True Gods.
True Gods are the most powerful non-creation god beings in existence and effectively rule over a portion of primal chaos.

Since Xiao Lingxi is able to read the “memoirs”, this indicates that she is related to either the creation gods (of light or darkness) or the Ancestral Primal God. It hasn’t been made clear which.

The seven divine artifacts are supposed to have been created out of the primal chaos but not by the Ancestral Primal God. They were effectively created or inserted alongside her. This indicates either an even higher third party dropped them in or that they were created in the same way as the Ancestral Primal God.

Each of the divine artifacts has a soul or spirit. This soul/spirit can decide who the master is, can control the artifact regardless of who it is, and can die.

The spirit of the MoS is intact. No master has been identified for the MoS ever. While the MoS is insanely over powered, it does have some limitations. The first one is that it takes 20 years to build up the power to trigger a single event (The biggest plot hole here is that there is knowledge of the MoS such as the 20 year requirement but there are no known users or masters of the same. How did anyone find this out if nobody has used it prior to YC?).
The MoS appears to either be manipulated by the Ancestral Primal God or an even higher power to achieve some greater end. The only other option is that the MoS spirit is the one controlling things but the reasons are not yet known.

There are some things about XQ that have not been made clear yet. There are many tidbits of information but nothing concrete yet. Examples:

  1. What is XQ’s end game and why?
  2. Why does XQ choose to be against YC instead of joining his side earlier on?
  3. There is obviously something telling her what will happen or what she should do that she subconsciously is listening to. This is alluded to by the HSDE when she says that she actually has accepted it. XQ doesn’t seem to understand what the HSDE is talking about though.
  4. Was she actually trying to kill YC or was it a ruse?
