Verbal and mental abuse is just as malicious as physical abuse. Just because he didn’t hit her doesn’t mean that he didn’t cause great damage. What a terrible story. Terrible author. I also skipped chapters. Nothing changes except she’s further along in her pregnancy. Unlikable ML but I have zero sympathy and zero care for the FL. She may be the “victim” but she keeps going back for more then cry and whine about it. I must remember the author’s name in order to avoid their works.
