Lu Rui is a wicked character, how can she be so pleased when she destroyed the person she calls brother’s home. Doesn’t she fear retribution? Why can’t there be a love story without any antagonist?

I’ve noticed that in this story, none of them had a smooth love story, they all had antagonist. Huo Tingshen and Wen Qing antagonized by Ye Wanluo, Huo Huaien and Mo Xinian by Zhou Yi, Fu Jingchen and Su Yao by Lu Rui. I think only Huo Tingren and Tong Hao together with Kang Yawei and his girlfriend were exempted.
