Well from my point of view it was together because of the void element which is not under any creation law and linguyix known or is the successor of the void.
Yun the can’t have intercourse with her because void is pure nobody can 'touch ’ her.
My conclusion she is reason why yun can cultivate both elements.

I don’t think so. YC has had the Ancestor God talk to him about it indicating that you can’t have light without darkness and vice verse. And Lingxi could understand that tablet, which is from the Ancestral God. This indicates she is related to the Ancestral God in some way (the Ancestral God is the one that created the primal Chaos and original worlds then created the creation gods and devils.
But what about void girls which even gods can’t control what’s her relationship.
