I’ve read rave reviews for the original content. Unfortunately, the MTL (which I usually don’t mind) is inadequate in translating the feeling of the original writing. It comes off as a confusing and boring story dragging along through too many chapters.
It doesn’t help that sometimes the story will jump forward for no reason. Worst of all, we’re dragged back into the past to agonizingly muck through the quagmire of a story just to explain changes you no longer care about.
