This novel was amazing in the beginning… but the author started using cheap tactics to churn out chapters, for example -kidnap subplots. Author uses kidnap subplots as a way to move the story forward. Every few chapters there is a kidnapping. After the 20th kidnapping, I’ve grown bored. It’s disappointing, because this author is good in other areas. He just needs to stop using the exact same plot mechanic to move the story forward.
