It has a slow pace, and the MC isn’t handed everything on a silver platter. The big issue with this story is the MC never takes initiative. You know in those other stories when the MC kills the arrogant young mater, everyone is all shocked that the MC dared do such thing. Then the MC usually replies with “Lol, you can kill whoever you want, but they can’t kill you back??”
That pretty much sums up our MC, everyone else can do whatever they want to him. Kidnap his close friends, constantly try to kill him, harass him, insult him w/e. He has never once taken the initiative to solve a problem. He just waits for each arrogant young master to send assassins after him. It’s honestly stupid as hell
