I don’t understand the royal family of this world~ The courtiers can abuse the emperor, and the prince can provoke the queen at will.

Because these empires in early story are complete bullshit. what authority can they have without power? These empires are only allowed to exist by the sects because the sects don’t want to govern people. These empires are as weak as chickens in front of the sects and they can’t just blatantly kill a disciple of those sects. they can only play politics and what not. The further you go into the story the more you will realize what true empires are in this universe.
