How to be a proofreader

Hi, guys！

We have recieved many applications of being proofreader recently, thank you for joining us!

In case that you might not know how to be a proofreader or how to proofread, here is the introduction:

Qualification: 5 days visited / 1 hour read time / 20 topics viewed at least.

Step one: In any chapter published by Chappie, you can find a Proofreader button. Click the button.

Step two: If you are qualified, the moderator will approve your application, and there will be a confirmation message in your message box.

Step three: Find the chapter you are interested in, you can claim the proofreading task by clicking the proofreader button. Remember, it should be a chapter published by Chappie.

Step four: After claiming the task, please finish proofreading in 8 hours. Once you finished, click the Submit button.

Step five: The moderater will check the proofreading task you submitted, approve it or reject it. If rejection happens, you can proofread and submit again.

Step six: After your task gets approved, you will see your name under the the title of the topic.

Any chapter published by Chappie, like this one God of Illusions - C317, then you could follow the instruction.

And you could apply for the proofreader qualification on novel.babelchain.org too.
For example: on this page, you can find the proofread button, click it, then follow the instruction.

I’ve noticed that some of the chapters are marked as proofread but it shows the original MTL version, not the edited one.

Please tell us the wrong chapters, and we’ll fix the problem. Thanks for noticing！

All chapters that I did last week:
Poison Genius Consort C901,C902,C903
Poison Genius Consort 2 C1,C2

If it got rejected, at least I can resubmit. But once it is marked as proofread, I can’t claim proofread task anymore.

Did you want to proofread these chapters again or you didn’t proofread them before?

Those chapter was marked as proofreaded by me, but the content was the original MTL version, not the one I submit.

I’m going to start the read of MGA from chapter 3175 to the last one and Nine Star Hegemon body arts since chapter 1400 to the last one, if is useful make me proofreader then tell me something, I will read every day I can

Dear mod, some of the proofread chapters were not updated correctly. It was marked “proofread by orenjineko” but still showing the original MTL version instead of the edited version.

Well good point the chapters which i have Proofread i have never looked at them again, maybe i should and see if there is problem.

hi i proofread a chapter correcting the genders,deleting repeated lines,correcting english for some chapters of dragon marked war god . However i got rejected. Could you tell the reasons why one is rejected when he/she proofreads a chapter

Edit the content online, then we can see your editing history.
If a chapter got rejected, there are two possible reasons: 1,the proofreading is not good enough; 2, we can’t find the editing history.
