How does this novel have a 9.2 review rating? Read 40 chapters so far and the writing seems sub par at best, the protagonist seems extremely one dimensional and the author seems to want to make him extremely edgy and ruthless for no reason. This author doesn’t seem to know how to write battles either, and the villains so far are just lame and are pushovers. This novel reminds of of Sovereign of the Three Realms but with worse writing and an unlikable protagonist. Please tell me the writing gets better later on?
