Fair enough. Like the title “Mindful Lies” … this was the concept of the final ending twist. The entire story throughout the book is actually a fabrication in the mind of the girl who had killed her brother, and is trying to mentally blank it out of her mind through a convoluted story where she’s innocent. If you notice all the names in the epilogue are the names of the characters in the story. She uses the people she knows at the institute as those involved in her made story. In essence, the story that is “Mindful Lies” is actually the delusions of an insane, homicidal girl who mercilessly killed her brother.
