Yes, there is an ongoing issue with the inconsistent use of he/her pronouns. But that doesn’t take away from how enjoyable it is to read this novel!
Honestly, after a while even if it says “he” for a female your mind starts filling in the blanks and your automatically correcting things in your head as you read.
I loved reading and would definitely recommend it to anyone that is either very fluent in English or a native English speaker as the pronoun and grammatical issues will be easier to handle.
