why i can’t borrow books now

Why can’t I read a book without using coins? I started a book “cutie, please marry me again” last month and I am only at chapter 10, to go further I have to use coins. I went to a different platform and read from chapters 1-157 already while waiting to see if you will unlock more chapters.
