And man, while I’m not someone who just bashes the current stuff, because while I absolutely hated all most all of the peace time stuff, I have enjoyed the “Dark” Era. But after re reading the story the new stuff just isn’t even in the same league as the old stuff. The quality of it just feels so much more richer. Hard to describe it in other words than it was just better. YC as a character was so much more interesting. And having Jasmine as a constant companion is a trillion times better than the BB. YC and Jasmine banter and dialog was great.

Well, yes that’s because when Mars was writing ATG in yun che in profound continent period Mars had a clear idea about what he was doing like the story, development, ending but now Mars is just dragging on the story with writing whatever comes on mind. Rather than focusing on atg he is focusing on chapters, words count like 1800 per chapter. That’s why the story is shorter these days and bunch of nonsense mostly. This things are not uncommon. When an author starts any project he has a clear objective but when the project becomes successful the shitty author becomes greedy and wants to mooch of his own story. This is the prime example of “Had potential but failed to deliver” meaning despite the ending once the story was rather good. But, greed overcame and ruined everything. This is mars gravity and ATG now. Besides all wuxia novels are repetitive.

About 3k words per chapter, i also don’t think that Mars is “mooching” of ATG success, i think its more that he genially is not sure what to write at the moment.
