I love this novel, could not stop reading it…but I feel that the ending is very abrupt. The last part of the story, chapter 17xx to 1995 about “childhood story” feels disconnected to the earlier parts of the novel. I expected at the end the writer would tie all stories together and end smoothly. I just feel that the ending is just too abrupt…
