It’s kind of hard to reformulate a theory, there are so many variables that have been left out for further analysis.
For example:

  1. Lingxi was struck by Black Lightning which we know comes from Lightning + Darkness, so it is reasonable to think of a Demon Emperor/Ancestral Goddess.
  2. YC will comprehend the law of Nihility in the “later” part of the novel.
  3. Azure Dragon God sealed his daughter in Heavenly Punishing Ancestral Sword and tossed it into Well of Samsara. Mars has stated that YC has encountered the HPAS before in the story.
  4. The dream of YC without XQ is likely something to do with Mirror of Samsara according with HSDE words of XQ pitiful fate. Perhaps HSDE meant that once her role has been fulfilled she will vanish into nothingness.

That is very reassuring to hear. Moreover, I want YC to know the truth before meeting XQ again, because I hate those bitter moments when a character harshly criticizes and hates someone else due to a misunderstanding, especially when it comes to the sensitive and tender relationship between XQ and YC. Imagine YC using his razor sharp tongue to break XQ heart into millions of pieces, that would truly be heart wrenching to read. I don’t mind a spectacular battle between YQ vs XQ though, until YC interferes or something.
